POLICIES
BIATA INK IS AN EXCLUSIVE ATELIER OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR DETAILED, ARTISTIC, SEMI-INVASIVE SERVICES, WE KINDLY REQUEST THAT YOU RESPECT OUR NO GUEST POLICY. ONLY THOSE WITH APPOINTMENTS ARE ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO.
COVID-19: In the event that you may sick are exposed to someone who is sick, we encourage you to reschedule your appointment and STAY HOME! During this unprecedented time, . Last minute cancellations are encouraged to call 1-413-353-4615 or send a detailed text message.
LATENESS: Guest should arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointments to allow time to fill out paperwork and get settled in. Please familiarize yourself with our location. We have a strict no-tolerance policy for late arrivals. WE CAN NOT AND WILL NOT RUSH PERFECTION! Exceptions will not be made for anyone arriving late due to traffic or any other personal emergency. Late arrivals will be cancelled and deposits may be forfeited. An additional deposit of $150 will be required to reschedule your appointment if you arrive late for your schedule appointment time. If you are more than 35 minutes late and I have time to move forward an extra $150 will be charged for the extra time in the appointment.
CANCELLATIONS: Please allow 7 days or more notice when rescheduling your appointment. ALL deposits/payments are non-refundable. If you arrive late for your scheduled appointment time or if you reschedule with less than 7 days notice, your payment will be forfeited. If you choose to cancel your appointment, you will automatically forfeit your deposit. Additional deposits will be required to reschedule your appointment if you give less than 7 days notice.
NO GUESTS PLEASE: Due to the nature of our detailed, semi-invasive services, we kindly request that you arrive unaccompanied to your appointment. We very strictly do not allow friends, boyfriends, hubbys, wifey, children, and/or pets to accompany you into the studio. We have a waiting area in the front of the office. Please let us know if you will be attending with anyone., if your guest(s) would like to wait close by for you to complete your appointment.
SERVICE DEPOSITS: A 25-50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due immediately upon booking to secure all appointments. Deposits will be charged to the credit card you provided upon booking your online reservation. This deposit is to ensure that you are serious about booking your Cosmetic Tattoo appointment and will be deducted from the total cost of your initial session. The remaining balance will be charged 7 days prior or on the day of your appointment when you receive your appointment reminder. UNLESS YOU PAY CASH then we can arrange a way to coordinate that. We still need to hold a credit card number for no show cancelation policies.
BALANCE:
CASH payments will receive a 5% discount for the remaining balance.
Remaining 50%-75% balance will be charged to the credit card on file 7 days prior to your appointment when you receive your appointment reminder or on same date of servie. Due to the nature of our detailed services, the artists’ focus is solely on the design and satisfaction of their customers. Unlike a traditional salon, there is no receptionist or cash register present in the studio to handle transactions. At the duration of your service, we kindly request that you admire your beautiful new brows uninterrupted. An exception can always be made, of course, if you prefer to pay the balance for your service in person with CASH. The remaining balance will be CHARGED ON THE CARD FOR NO SHOWS AND LATE APPOINTMENTS.
MICROBLADING/ EYELINER/ LIPS TOUCH UP ENHANCEMENT SESSIONS:
New clients receive two sessions. The second session, called the Touchup Enhancement Session . This must be scheduled no sooner than 6 weeks and no later than 12 weeks following your first session. If your Enhancement Session is scheduled after 12 weeks, it is not considered an initial touchup and will incur an additional charge on top of a standard touchup price. Enhancement Sessions is recommended for the best results. Additional Touch-Up appointments may be needed for oily, problematic skin, those with dark pigmented skin and people who do not follow after care instructions properly.

WAITLIST: We very rarely have cancellations or rescheduled appointments, however please speak to our concierge directly by phone if you would like to be added to the waitlist.
EXISTING BROW TATTOOS: We are extremely selective when working over existing tattoos and other tattoo artists' work. If you have had your eyebrows previously tattooed, we request that you email us clear photos of your brows for approval (hello@biataink.com) BEFORE your appointment booking for a BROW TATTOO CORRECTION. In addition to the photos in your email, please include the date of your last brow tattoo, how many sessions you received, and the business name and artist name who performed your service.
GRATUITIES:
We do not accept gratuities on credit cards, we only accept them through Venmo or CASH. Gratuity on a service is customary and welcomed of course. :) If you are happy with the work show some love.
IMPORTANT FOR ALL CLIENTS: Microblading, Scalp Micropigmentation and all permanent cosmetics are considered a multiple-step appointment process. Healed results will vary with each individual client. NO guarantees will be made. Additional sessions (at an additional charge) may be required to obtain optimal desired results. Although we give our best efforts to provide you with quality service, many factors can result in a less then desired outcome as each client will heal differently. In order for your new brows to heal properly (and look their very best) please follow all Pre & Post Care Instructions! These instructions are designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessing bleeding during the procedure can dilute and expel the pigment color and lead to poor results.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE: BIATA INK reserves the right to refuse service and training to anyone at our discretion.
